Day 1

Irkutsk — Mondy — Khankh — Lake Khubsugul

Meet the morning arrival in Irkutsk and drive 320 km to the border, around six hours. Lunch en route is at your discretion. After the crossing, settle into a ger lodge on the shore of Lake Khubsugul, complete the safety and Can-Am Maverick X3 briefing, collect your field kit and gather for a Mongolian welcome dinner.

Day 2 · 150 km off-road

Khankh — Shara Nuur — Darkhad Basin

Set out by buggy along the Khubsugul shoreline. Pause at sacred saltwater Shara Nuur, fish the Ikh Khoro Gol and take lunch in the field. Climb the 2,500-metre Utragiin Daba Pass, cross the watershed, peat wetlands and mountain rivers, then descend to the Shargyn Gol for fire-cooked dinner and a night in camp.

Day 3 · 230 km off-road

Darkhad Basin — Saira — Khardalyk — western shore

Cross the Darkhad Basin—the Valley of a Thousand Rivers—following the dry Saira riverbed and a rocky mountain track. After field lunch, take the Khardalyk Pass for its wide views and glacial river sources, then descend to Khubsugul's western shore for dinner and a campfire by the lake.

Day 4 · 150 km off-road

Khatgal — eastern shore — Agarta Resort

Return to the eastern shore of Lake Khubsugul through rocky terrain, dunes and wild bays. Check into Agarta Resort, then choose between fishing, SUP or a boat outing. The day closes with a gala dinner at the hotel; Sky Lounge is optional.

Day 5

Agarta Resort — Mondy — Irkutsk

Drive to the Russian–Mongolian border, complete the crossing and continue 320 km to Irkutsk, around six hours. The expedition closes with transfer to the airport or your selected hotel.

Day 1 · yacht Princess 42

Irkutsk — border — Khubsugul — Agarta Resort

Arrive in Irkutsk the evening before. After an 08:00 breakfast, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter covers the 320 km to the Russian–Mongolian border. From the crossing it is 28 km to Lake Khubsugul, where you board the Princess 42; luggage follows by Yamaha speedboat. Aboard, take a light lunch during the 90 km, two-hour lake passage to Agarta Resort for welcome dinner and rest.

Day 2 · 150 km off-road

Agarta Resort — Bulnay thermal springs

After a 10:00 breakfast, complete the briefing, collect equipment and prepare the BRP Can-Am Maverick X3. The route to Bulnay's wild thermal springs crosses a mountain pass, rivers, dunes and the Khubsugul shoreline. A barbecue lunch is served in the field before returning to the resort for dinner.

Day 3 · boat trip

Jet 360 Xtreme, Sea-Doo and Modonhuu Island

After breakfast, take the Jet 360 Xtreme and Sea-Doo jet skis onto Lake Khubsugul for fishing. A barbecue lunch is served on uninhabited Modonhuu Island before returning to Agarta Resort for dinner and rest.

Day 4 · 150 km off-road

Mountain rivers: lenok and grayling

After breakfast, travel by Can-Am Maverick X3 to the mountain rivers through a high pass and river valleys. Fish for lenok and mountain grayling, take lunch on route, then return to the resort for dinner.

Day 5 · optional program

Fishing, nomads, horseback or helicopter

Choose lake fishing or a Mongolian-horse ride through the surrounding landscape with a nomadic visit. A Robinson R66 helicopter drop to remote mountain water can be arranged for lenok and grayling fishing; taimen is subject to licence. Return to the resort for gala dinner.

Day 6 return

Agarta Resort — Khankh — Irkutsk

Breakfast and check-out at 08:00. Cross 90 km of lake by Princess 42 in around two hours, then transfer 28 km to the border. After the Mongolian–Russian crossing, continue 320 km to Irkutsk for an evening flight to Moscow or St Petersburg.

Day 4.

8-00 Breakfast at the hotel.

The route of the off-road expedition is 240 km, crossing passes 2500 m high, visiting the Darkhat Basin - the valley of a thousand rivers. Difficult off-road areas, rivers, swamps, glaciers, steppes and ancient stone paths.

Lunch and drinks along the route.

The descent to the Shargyn Gol River is one of the most picturesque places in Mongolia.

19-00 Arrival at our established camp.

20-00 Dinner.

Evening bonfire.

21-00 For those who wish – fishing on a mountain river.

Bathhouse.

9-00 Breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

10-00 Start of the active program. Instruction on control and safety techniques for Sea Doo GTX jet skis.

11-00 Start from the pier of the Agarta Resort hotel. The length of the route is 150 km. The route will pass along picturesque areas and bays of Lake Khubsugul, crossing to the island of Modonkhuu.

Lunch – barbecue on a desert island.

Fishing on the lake – grayling, lenok.

Return to the hotel.

Dinner.

Visit to the spa.

Day 3.

9-00 – 10-00 Breakfast in the hotel restaurant.

10-00 – 10-30 We undergo safety training and control of the Canam Maverick X3 buggy, we are equipped with a helmet, overalls, gloves, balaclavas.

The group will be accompanied by: a buggy with a guide and tour leader, and a technical support vehicle.

11-00 We set off along the route; Approximate distance per day – 150–200 km: along the shoreline of the lake, mountain pass, valleys and rough terrain to the Bulnai thermal springs (water temperature +27–48°).

14-00 – 15-00 Relaxation in natural thermal baths.
Hot lunch and snacks/drinks along the route.

18-00 Arrival at the Agarta Resort hotel.

20-00 Dinner at the hotel restaurant.

22-24-00 Those who wish will have the opportunity to extend the evening at the Sound Bar.

Evening arrival in Irkutsk.

Morning breakfast, meeting the team.

Transfer by Mercedes Sprinter (320 km, 5 hours) to the border with Mongolia.

Crossing the border, going to Khatgal village (28 km, 30 min).

Loading onto the motor yacht Princess 42, luggage - on a Yamaha speedboat.

Buffet on board, trip around the lake (90 km, 2 hours).
